Aerosoft Wants YOU to Try Your Luck with Grand Casino Tycoon in the Open Playtest this Weekend
This Saturday, May 1, 2021, Aerosoft, an acclaimed publisher of best-selling simulation titles, and developer stillalive studios, will host an Open Public Playtest for their upcoming business management sim, Grand Casino Tycoon. In the game, you’ll design, build, and manage the most luxurious, exciting, and most importantly, profitable casino on the Vegas strip! The Open Playtest is a chance to chat with the developers about what works and what doesn’t, see how your house of cards stands up to the competition, and even win a branded and stylized Grand Casino Tycoon official poker set and carrying case! The Playtest will kick off with a Steam livestream including stillalive studios’ CEO Julian Mautner and Fabian Boulegue, Producer at Aerosoft.

When: The open playtest kicks off Saturday, May 1, 2021, and runs until Sunday, May 2, 2021, at 9:30 am Eastern.

Whether you prefer a pin-striped suit or cowboy boots and a bolo tie, being a casino magnate is all about one thing: making lots and lots of money. In order to do this, players will need to design an enticing experience for their guests, which means lots ‘o slots, table games, and conveniently located bars and restaurants. Utilize all available information via the nifty “Needs” system that allows players to closely monitor guests’ happiness, hunger, thirst, and most importantly, spending. However, make sure to keep a close eye on the big winners: after all, this outfit is designed to make you money, not some chump card-sharp.
Join the playtest and dive into the world of high-stakes Las Vegas casino development this Saturday and your guests might not be the only ones winning! Aerosoft will also be raffling off several Grand Casino Tycoon Deluxe Kits that include a Grand Casino Tycoon branded case of poker chips, and a retail version of Grand Casino Tycoon — all players in the Open Playtest will automatically be entered into the drawing — all you have to do is sign up!
Important Things to Know Ahead of the Playtest:
- The Customer’s Cash is Key: A successful casino is nothing without the guests, so design your casino with one key philosophy in mind: will this encourage more people to empty their pockets?
- A Well-Fed Client is a Happy Client: The last thing a casino magnate wants is hangry gamblers, so ensuring plenty of food, drink, and entertainment are close by will keep their energy levels high and the spending levels even higher
- Give Them the Games They Want: The house always wins, but only if people are playing. Build a variety of classic table games and loud, shiny slot machines to attract would-be winners (not if we can help it) to try their luck!
- If You Built It, They Will Play: People aren’t coming here just for the ambiance, they want to play. Equip your gambling den with a variety of thrilling table games like Blackjack and Roulette for the old-school types and fill the gaps with bright, shiny slot machines for everyone else!
