Check out the latest update trailer for Fish Game! The nutrition system adds a deep new layer to tank dynamics and interaction. Some species will go bonkers for certain foods but don’t care about others. Fish will hog their faves and you’ll have to be more diligent to make sure everyone gets the right variety of snacks.
You can get an idea of what a fish likes by hovering over the “i” in their details in the Your Fish (or Store Fish) panel. Fish will find themselves on a matrix of grazing, opportunist and predacious; and herbivorous, omnivorous and carnivorous.
Dead fish also become food! Failures are now edible! Unless they were sick, in which case the scavengers might get a touch of food poisoning.
