Once players accumulate 100 event points in the upcoming 38th Maximus Cup, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by the latest Super Mario Bros. Wonder game. The 38th Maximus Cup in Tetris 99 will run from December 14 through December 18 for Nintendo Switch.
