Hades vinyl soundtrack leads the charge in iam8bit’s Restockalypse II event
iam8bit has uncovered a trove of fan-favorite – and sold out – vinyl, including the Hades 4xLP and Oxenfree 2xLP soundtracks. They’ll be available on iam8bit.com starting tomorrow, October 11 at 9 a.m. PDT, as part of the second iam8bit Restockalypse event.
Here’s the complete list of newly discovered inventory:
- Hades: Original Soundtrack 4xLP ($89.99) – Hades features 30 tracks from Darren Korb and vocalist Ashley Barrett. Each disk is smoke grey and housed in a sleeve featuring beloved characters Nyx, Orpheus, Megaera, and Zagreus. The box set also includes a digital download code of the soundtrack for fans’ listening pleasure.
- Oxenfree Reissue 2xLP ($41.99) – This record is pressed on an almost supernaturally translucent orange vinyl and packaged in updated artwork from the talented J.WAV, whose signature style is almost too perfect a fit for this title. Otherworldly conspiracy, or just luck? We’ll let you be the judge.
- Journey Vinyl Soundtrack 2xLP (10th Anniversary Edition) ($40.00) – To celebrate its momentous 10th anniversary, iam8bit is ecstatic to revisit one of the very first (and best-selling) vinyl soundtracks that we minted nearly a decade ago, offering composer Austin Wintory’s passionate, evocative and emotional score on the purest quality pressing possible — 180-gram audiophile black vinyl.
- Sea of Thieves 3xLP Vinyl Soundtrack ($99.99) – this 3xLP is the ultimate desert island vinyl (provided you’re also stranded with a turntable). Befittingly, our dear pal Umbra offered us a compliment to those tunes – tall tales from all about, as recited by that grizzled old salt, “Merry” Merrick. Across an illustrated, 24-page storybook bound into the gatefold jacket, you’ll discover bounties of exclusive lore once thought lost to the depths of the ocean.
- Untitled Goose Game Vinyl Soundtrack ($29.99) – Playing vinyl is typically a linear experience, but we’ve collaborated with masters of the craft to create a “Double Groove” vinyl. Every time you place the needle, you’re rolling the dice on which path the music will take — a lovely complement to the dynamic in-game soundtrack, making every turntable run a random rendition.
Where did we discover these priceless items? Funny you should ask. iam8bit’s bravest team members returned from their recent survey of the company’s vast warehouse, an ever-shifting and expanding space that defies scientific explanation. Fortunately, they were able to snag a few boxes of held-back inventory before the shelves rearranged themselves.
Supplies are limited. It’s not easy to wrangle up teams of warehouse explorers, let alone source the miles of twine necessary to facilitate their safe return.
