14 Hours Productions is thrilled to announce their upcoming title, Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago, will be debuting a demo this October as a participant of Steam Next Fest.
The Evil Frog Lord has been spreading evil across the land. The Fairy Queen has tasked you with stopping his reign of terror!
You are a Guardian Spirit created by the Fairy Queen to look after the heroes of this realm. You are to guide them. Nurture them. Lead them towards success against the dark terrors of this world. With the increasing threat of the Frog Lord’s power, you must raise the realm’s next champion–from egg to adventurer to hero–capable of quelling this evil. Accomplish grand quests, upgrade your equipment, and grow together with your pocket hero!
Yolk Heroes is part digital pet sim, part RPG adventure, part casual idle game, and wholly fun. A customizable pixel art pallet and charming soundtrack welcome players into this fantasy world, leaving the experience yours to customize. Players may grind quests to protect the realm’s citizens or simply enjoy the cozy experience of raising their digital friend. The world is your oyster. (Or, in this case, your egg!)
Yolk Heroes provides a casual experience for everyone. Should you fall in battle, fear not! Your pocket companion can always be nursed back to health. Tamagotchi-inspired mechanics mean you’ll never tire of your heroic adventures; just set your hero to task and sit back for the results!
Every pocket-sized slayer needs rest, so prepare to care for your hero before and after each quest. Bath and nurture your hero to raise their health or train their dexterity, intelligence, and combat ability to prepare for future missions. Yolk Heroes is meant to be played at your own pace, so venture out into the world whenever you’re ready.
In anticipation of the title’s full release, Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago will be featured in Steam Next Fest, where audiences may experience this adventure in a free demo. In addition to PC, the title will be playable on mobile (iOS & Android) at the game’s full launch.
