Highly anticipated VR mech pit fighting game UNDERDOGS gets a release date!
One Hamsa, developer of the VR hit Racket: Nx, announced their new physics-based VR mech brawler UNDERDOGS will be launching on January 25th on Meta Quest 3 (optimised for the platform) Meta Quest 2 and PCVR. The game was first revealed in a Meta Quest Gaming Showcase LAST year.
In this single-player roguelike adventure, you strap into a mechanical beast and bash, crush, maul and rip apart enemy bots and mechs through a dark scene of underground pit fights! Pilot your 5-ton mech with both arms, gear up with 100+ items and power tools, hire hackers or hustle with gangsters as you claw your way up the food chain.

Story summary
Rigg & King, two Mech Fighter brothers from London, are in trouble when a piece of cryptic data finds its way into King’s brain. Threatened by the AI taking over his consciousness, they set out to New Brakka – The Last Free City. But this ain’t the kind of place you just walk into. It’s surrounded by The Jungle, and its dodgy streets are run by gangs, hustlers and criminals. If they want to make it through before the AI Big Sys hacks into King’s brain and flatlines him, they’ll have to claw their way up the food chain in Mech Fighting Pits. And if there’s one thing Rigg Serrano is good at – it’s smashing $%@# up with his Mech.
