Publisher Frosty Pop and developer Strange Scaffold also release a new trailer

Frosty Pop and Strange Scaffold are proud to announce its new game Life Eater is out now on Steam. What’s more: you can check out a brand-new trailer below.

Perhaps the world’s first horror fantasy kidnapping simulator, you play as a druid working a dead-end job in the middle of suburbia, making ends meet to support your real vocation: conducting the annual ritual that keeps the world from ending. Doing so is simple; you just need to sacrifice a certain amount of specific but vaguely described humans every year.

Life Eater uses a video editing-inspired interface letting you explore the lives of your victims before abducting them. Act fast before the authorities can catch on and find your lair. And, you know, before the world ends.

Features:

  • Use an innovative “timeline” interface for a new kind of analog horror game.
  • Get to know the unsuspecting targets of your town, intimately.
  • Replayable blend of authored and generated stories.
  • Fully voiced story mode featuring Xalavier Nelson Jr. and Jarret Griffis.
  • Original atmospheric soundscape from David Mason, the composer of DREDGE.
  • An additional endless mode launching within the next month.

Life Eater is available now on Steam for PC for $14.99. A special launch-week discount of 10% off will run until April 23, 2024.
