India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) To Mark Its Presence at GDC,the World’s Premium Game Developer Forum
For the first time in the country’s gaming history, India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) will mark its presence with an India Pavilion at GDC, the world’s premium game developer conference unfolding in San Francisco from March 18 to 22, 2024.
The India Pavilion is bound to be a robust opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the potential of India’s explosive gaming market which clocked a revenue of $3.1 Bn in FY23, and is projected to grow at an impressive CAGR of 15.68% over the next five years to hit a revenue of $7.5 Bn by FY28.
Conceptualised and put together by IGDC, the Pavilion will play host to a wide range of exhibitors, showcasing their cutting edge products and services. Lined up for the Pavilion are Nazara, Winzo, Dot9 studio, Mumbai; Xigma Games, Bangalore; Ogre Head Studios, Hyderabad; Ayelet Studio, Chennai; Studio Cupcakes, Pune; and Redimension Games, Nagaland. The India Pavilion will showcase the potential of the Indian Game Industry to the World at large and help drive business and collaborations.
GDC is designed to bring the global game development community together to exchange ideas, solve problems, and shape the future of the industry across five days of education, inspiration, and networking.
