Neon Doctrine — a leading Southeast Asian game publisher of popular indie titles such as Yuppie Psycho, The Legend of Tianding, Lamentum, and the acclaimed SIMULACRA series — and The Rewinder developer Misty Mountain Studio, are proud to announce today at digital narrative festival LudoNarraCon their partnership to globally publish visual novel thriller Death Trick: Double Blind on Windows PC in later this year.
Trouble is brewing at Morgan’s Traveling Circus, and it’s up to players to gather clues, interrogate suspects, and point out contradictions in their quest to solve the mysterious disappearance of Morgan’s star magician. What hidden secrets among Death Trick: Double Blind‘s cast of colorful characters hold the truth? Who’s lying? Who is responsible?!
Death Trick: Double Blind is a unique non-linear interactive story set in mid-twentieth century America at the height of traveling circus popularity. The game features a riveting detective story with twists and turns that will shock and delight fans of the genre. From the alternating perspective of two characters, each with access to different sources of information, players must hone their detective skills to discover the truth. With limited chances of action, a player’s choice of which clues to pursue, characters to interrogate, and locations to visit will affect the story and lead to one of several unlockable endings.

Developer Misty Mountain Studio is led by three lead female game developers from China. This modestly sized studio is best known for its hit adventure puzzle game The Rewinder, which was released in 2021.
