The puzzle platformer BEAM, the debut title of Binary Impact, closes the story around Captain Martin and the AI-powered escape pod MARBLE with the third and final chapter. The physics puzzle platformer demands full concentration as new challenges, environmental puzzles and difficult skill passages await in the brand new environment. To celebrate the release, BEAM is currently available on Steam with 75% off for only 3.99 EUR / 4.74 USD as part of the Steam Summer Sale. Including the new chapter, BEAM offers around 12 hours of tricky fun and sends the player on a journey back to civilization through three futuristically designed chapters after his shipwreck. To complete each level, the different mechanics of the various light beams must be used wisely. While MARBLE can use orange light beams as a path with the help of smoke, red light beams are elastic and act as a trampoline, for example. A total of five different light beams provide gameplay variety with their respective characteristics.
The challenging precision platformer is supported by driving synthesizer sounds, the soundtrack is also available with 50% discount during the Steam Summer Sale.
Binary Impact was supported by a pilot project of the computer game grant from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) in 2019 and received a de minimis grant for the development of the precision platformer game BEAM.
