New Trailer Showcases Harsh Environments, Advanced Defenses, Glider Vehicles and the Ability to Vanquish All that Dare Defy Your Eminence in Next Year’s Most Anticipated MMO
Developer Angela Game and publisher Imperium Interactive Entertainment have shared a new trailer for Version 1.0 of their multiplayer war sandbox game Myth of Empires, showing off the title’s adrenaline-inducing gameplay and immersive new content ahead of its Steam launch in February 2024.
Myth of Empires Version 1.0 optimizes the gameplay that players came to know and love during the game’s Early Access period, and enriches it with additional content including revamped boss AI, gliders, climbing tools, an immersive planting system, and an all-new map seen for the first time at the end of today’s trailer.
“The road to Myth of Empires’ Version 1.0 release has been a long and exciting one,” says Meng Liang, Producer at Angela Game and Project Director at Angela Game’s T’ien-Kung Studio. “Myth of Empires will be bigger, better, and more immersive than ever, and this trailer gives players their first look at all of the cool stuff we’ve been working on. We can’t wait for them to jump into the game and see it all for themselves this February.”
Myth of Empires is a multiplayer sandbox game featuring an unprecedented degree of freedom. Players will fight to survive and earn their place in a world torn by war, build fortresses, lead armies in massive battles, siege enemy cities, and establish their own empires!
Key features available in Myth of Empires Version 1.0:
- New ways to traverse the world, including soaring gliders, climbing tools that will allow players to scale towering walls, and platform saddles that can be used for combat or simple transportation.
- New defensive structures and mechanical collection tools that liberate players’ creativity and enable them to build ever more advanced and powerful empires.
- New Map: Dongzhou Island – an expansive new territory featuring islets, volcanoes, seas, and ships, as well as new boss content. This map is a free addition to the game.
- New ways to play the game, including hosted and solo modes, as well as private servers that have the same functionality as official servers.
- Modding support and a robust suite of modding tools, giving players more power over the world of Myth of Empires than ever before.
- Simulated sieges and challenges on the three major battlefields (County Battles, Fortress Battles, and Prefecture Battles) that will allow PvE players to experience the game’s large-scale combat against NPCs, and provide PvP players a chance to hone their strategic abilities.
- New skills to make combat even more immersive and engaging.
- A new planting system allowing players to grow crops wherever they like, freeing them from the tether of restricted plots.
- A new horse racing mode.
- New characters, weapons, structures, saddles, and armor cosmetics will be released with updates after Version 1.0 release.
Myth of Empires will launch on PC via Steam in February 2024 and on consoles later in the year.
