Nexon to Publish Gigant Shock (Working Title), a Mobile Action RPG Developed by Carbon Eyed, in Japan
NEXON Co., Ltd. (3659.TO) (“Nexon”), a global leader in online games for PC and mobile, today announced that it will publish Gigant Shock (working title), developed by
CARBON EYED Inc. (“Carbon Eyed”), in Japan.
Gigant Shock is a mobile action RPG that invites players to strategically organize a team of characters with various skills to vanquish enormous monsters. Players are able to improve their skills by manipulating the characters in combat independently, an exhilarating experience that still remains simple to operate to appeal to a wide variety of users. The title features a single-player mode and PvP mode, as well as a real-time multiplayer mode for up to three people so that players can fully enjoy the teamwork and camaraderie, which is differentiated from conventional mobile games.
Gigant Shock’s developer, Carbon Eyed, was founded in 2014 by Chris Lee, former CEO and founder of Eyedentity Games, who also led the growth of NHN Entertainment and NHN USA as their representative director and CEO. He has assembled a team of talented developers, including a prominent game developer who also led the development of LINE’s hugely popular game LINE POP, at Carbon Eyed.
