Next XBOX Release Date, for Microsoft Next Generation

He next XBOX release date has been speculated to be in the year 2020. At the E3 2018 Microsoft confirmed that the next generation of
XBOX is in development. It is speculated that the next
XBOX may come in two variants- a standard high powered console
which is currently known as lockhart. The new console will likely be focusing on streaming. It is rumoured that Microsoft will unveil about both its xboxes in the E3 2019. The first device which has been codenamed lockhart would probably be an entry level system that will no longer use the disc reader and does most of its gaming from the cloud. The anaconda which might have a high powered console will be a typical high end machine that will be built upon
XBOX one X’s power.

Microsoft is also deep into architecting the next generation of
XBOX consoles. According to some specifications that were leaked in January the lockhart model may consist of an 8 core CPU, a 4 teraflop GPU, RAM of 12 GB, 1 TB SSD, and directX ray tracing. The stronger model that is anaconda may have 12 teraflop GPU and 16 GB of RAM.

Next XBOX Game

According to rumours the first game that would be launched would be the highly anticipated halo infinite which was unveiled in E3 2018. The rumours also suggest Ninja Theory. Microsoft has not confirmed to any theories that say that the new XBOX consoles being backwards compatible.

Streaming in XBOX

During Microsoft’s E3 2018 presentation Phil spencer revealed that his team is currently developing cloud gaming technology. This service was later revealed to be called project xCloud and this will allow XBOX games to be played on a number of low powered devices like mobile phones and they will also be able to use Bluetooth powered XBOX controllers.

Microsoft is reportedly going to release an XBOX one S without the disc drive in 2019. However it is very unlikely that XBOX will drop support for discs. A leak of alleged technical specifications for the console seems to confirm that Microsoft will make use of a discrete GPU which is rumoured to be called as Arcturus 12. It is also speculated that it is a standalone GPU rather than an integrated piece of a larger board. The XBOX one had introduced backward compatibility with XBOX 360 a few ago and this feature was later added to the original XBOX games as well so it appears that it will continue with the next generation of XBOX .

In Windows central report the next generation of XBOX systems will be fully compatible with all the games that are available on XBOX one. Including the ones that were originally released for XBOX 360 and the original box. The chief marketing manager of Microsoft for XBOX squashed all rumours about the virtual reality feature. Therefore we won’t be seeing any virtual reality (VR) feature in the new generation of XBOX .

Recently Microsoft has been pretty keen in incorporating the latest and greatest audio visual technology into its consoles- Dolby atmos support, 4K and HDR. 

Upcoming XBOX One Games 

The Upcoming XBOX One Games are:

1. Rage 2: is going to be released on 14 May 2019. Genre: FPS. It is a sequel to rage where the protagonist is fighting post apocalyptic gangs and mutants, thousands of years into the future where earth has been destroyed by an asteroid. 
2. Control: this going to be released on 27^th April 2019. It belongs to the shooter genre. The game is basically where you are a shooter with supernatural telekinetic powers and you fight the forces of darkness.
3. Gears 5: this game will be released in 2019 the date is yet to be confirmed. It is a third person shooting game. This is the 5^th installment of gears of war.
4. Cyberpunk 2077: the date is to be confirmed it belongs to the RPG genre. The Witcher meets Deus ex in a sci-fi RPG where advanced technology has both cured and cursed humanity. 
5. Anthem: anthem is a multiplayer role playing game. 
6. Crackdown 3: is a long awaited sequel to crackdown 2 which was released on 2010. In this installment you will be fighting a terrorist group called Terra Nova. 
7. Man of Medan: this is the first part of the Dark Pictures anthology. It is a horror game and the date of release is to be announced but it is most likely to be released in 2019. 
8. Doom eternal: this is first person fast paced shooter combat with an over the top violent tone with a variety of weapon types. The release date is to be announced soon. But the game will see light this year.
