Parallel TCG Ardent Arena 2023 tournament, as hosted by Echelon, kicks off October 3-15 with a prize pool of $40k+

The Echelon PRIME Foundation is excited to debut its Ardent Arena 2023 tournament, for the free-to-play blockchain-integrated Parallel TCG, a new and groundbreaking trading card game set in our solar system thousands of years in the future.

The Ardent Arena 2023 celebrates Parallel TCG’s loyal community following, allowing the most steadfast collectors to participate and play to win the prize pool, starting at 11,000 $PRIME. This is the first truly high-stakes Parallel TCG tournament ever, which will ultimately run on an annual basis.

The seeding for the tournament will take place over one week in ranked matchmaking, where the top 30 players will qualify for playoffs, and 31 through 38 compete for the last two spots. All games in the top 38 can be viewed on the Echelon Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/echelonfnd.

Ticket minting is running for a limited time only, starting now and closing October 2nd at 11:59 pm EST, so if you’d like to throw your cards to the board, now is the perfect time to sign up for Parallel TCG.

PARTICIPATION

To enter the tournament, you must meet the following criteria:

Note: The Ardent Pass is merely a receipt of your tournament entry fee and it does not grant access to the tournament on its own.

SCHEDULE:
Round 1
 – The seeding round takes place October 3 at 5:00 pm EST, and concludes October 11 at 5:00 pm EST. Participants compete in ranked matchmaking to earn a spot among the top 38, and players are seeded based on a proprietary calculation that factors in consistency, games played, win rate, and ladder rank. Seeds 1-30 automatically qualify for playoffs, while seeds 31 through 38 move on to round 2, the play-in tournament.

Round 2 – The play-in tournament takes place on October 12. Seed 31 plays seed 38, seed 32 plays 37, and so on. Participants must submit two decks, each from a different Parallel, before competing, and matches are best of three. To advance, players must win with both decks, while first and second place in round 2 qualify for the last two spots in round 3.

Round 3 – The playoffs take place on October 13, 14, and 15. In this single-elimination tournament, seed 1 plays seed 32, seed 2 plays 31, and so on. To compete, players must submit two decks, each from a different Parallel. Matches are best-of-three, and players must win with both decks to advance. The Grand Final is a best-of-five, where players may win twice with the same deck.
