Pixel Awards Europe 2022 has announced this year’s nominees
Over 150 titles were submitted for this year’s Pixel Awards Europe. The jury has chosen 13 titles which will compete for the awards in several categories. The winners will be announced during a special gala on June 11th at the Pixel Heaven Festival 2022 in Warsaw. Attendees of the festival will be able to check out the nominated titles during the event.
This year’s edition of the Pixel Heaven Festival will take place in SOHO Warsaw (ul. Mińska 25, halls 19, B58, and Chrono Lulu bar) on June 10th-12th. Guests may expect an action-packed agenda – from retro consoles, arcades, and computers to exciting panels. Éric Chahi, the creator of Another World, Jordan Mechner, the author of Prince of Persia and Karateka, and Marty Brown, one of the developers behind the original Worms game, will all be special guests of the 10th edition of the festival. A long-time fan of Pixel Heaven – Jon Hare, founder of Sensible Studios, will also be present.
On the second day of the festival, the winners of Pixel Awards, the largest European indie-focused competition, will be announced. The jury has chosen 13 games to compete for this year’s awards. These are:
