That’s the driving thought behind War Mongrels, a World War II tactics game about a group of deserters who fight back against the oppression and cruelty tearing their world apart. GS2 Games is happy to announce that War Mongrels is coming to PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 at retail today. The PlayStation retail version launches with every update for the PC version so far, including dozens of bug fixes and performance improvements.
| War Mongrels tells the story of two German soldiers swept into the war in Europe on a wave of pride and patriotism – before seeing the cruelty of Nazi Germany firsthand and changing sides. The two abandon their cause and team up with a ragged bunch of ne’er-do-wells to protect the innocent caught up in atrocities committed by the Nazis and the Red Army. Each Mongrel has a special set of skills, and wise use of them is essential for survival. Sure, you could just use some of your period-accurate firearms and rush in with guns literally blazing.
