Realms of Ruin and Speed Freeks world premieres amongst biggest reveals at Warhammer Skulls showcase

World renowned Games Workshop, in conjunction with several of their licensed partners, ​ launched a packed Warhammer Skulls showcase – with several title reveals, updates, and behind the scenes sneak peeks for fans to sink their teeth into.

 

Hosted by Rahul Kohli, the seventh annual showcase premiered and announced globally the first ever major Age of Sigmar real time strategy game, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, as well as the brand new free-to-play racing combat game, Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks, with an alpha playtest available on Steam right now. 

Games Workshop also announced a brand new collaboration with Powerwash Simulator, bringing the grim dark and apparently dirty universe of Warhammer 40,000 into the squeaky clean world of simulated cleaning. ​ Also in the action-packed line-up of reveals: a brand new gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, showcasing a first look at a Tyranid horde for players and a reveal of the new Titus Warhammer 40,000 tabletop miniature; while Warhammer 40,000: Darktide had a huge content update revealed with two new maps and the Chaos Spawn added. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader showed off new locations, enemies, and revealed a new companion – the Space Wolf, Ulfar – together with the announcement of the founders Beta launch coming on June 1st. 

Recently released Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun showcased its launch trailer, while Rahul Kohli talked about his role in the game and unveiled the new game inspired Xbox Design Lab controllers; Total War: Warhammer III celebrated 40 years of Warhammer by announcing and releasing legendary hero Harald Hammerstorm into game. Blood Bowl 3 also revealed the Lizardmen team (which will be free to all on the launch of Season 1 later in June); and Warpforge, the Warhammer 40,000 digital card game, announced and launched an open demo featuring the new Tyranids to coincide with the festival.

And if that wasn’t enough, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector showcased and dropped the brand new Orks DLC (available now on PC and console),Laced Music revealed the incredible Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus soundtrack on vinyl, and Warhammer: Vermintide 2 announced new Karak Azgaraz levels and teased Sienna’s new career.
