Revenant Esports Crowned Esports Organization of the Year at India Gaming Awards 2023

Revenant Esports has bagged the Esports Organization of the Year title at the India Gaming Awards 2023. The organization, founded in 2021, has quickly grown to become one of the country’s biggest through its tried and tested strategy of identifying and nurturing talent from the grassroots to make them esports stars. Over the past two years, the Mumbai-based organization competed in four esports titles internationally, namely Pokemon UNITE, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Apex Legends while fielding teams across seven esports games – the most by an Indian esports organization to date.

Commenting on the achievement, Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO, Revenant Esports, said, “We are honored to be named the Esports Organization of the Year at the India Gaming Awards 2023. Our journey from grassroots to greatness has been nothing short of incredible, and this recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented players and staff. It’s also a testament to the work we have done across a multitude of esports titles in India and beyond. We are committed to continuing our mission of nurturing and developing esports stars, and we look forward to achieving even greater heights in the years to come.”

Revenant Esports currently field esports teams in Pokemon Unite, Brawl Stars, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), and Counter-Strike. The Pokemon UNITE roster has been one of the most successful ones in the country, having been the representative at the 2022 World Championship. They also honed the country’s colors at the Asia Champions League earlier this year.

The Brawl Stars roster, on the other hand, has created history by being the first-ever Indian team to qualify for the World Finals 2023. They will be competing for the title of world champions in Sweden from Nov. 24 to 26.

Additionally, earlier this year, Bollywood star Tiger Shroff made a strategic investment into Revenant Esports. Since then, the organization has also made significant strides in content creation by picking up some of the country’s top creators like Alpha Clasher, Antaryami Gaming, Incognito, Bitty is Live, Emperor Plays, and Ayush.

“As we reflect on this remarkable achievement and look ahead to the future, Revenant Esports remains committed to our core mission of fostering esports talent, pushing the boundaries of competitive gaming, and expanding our presence in the world of content creation,” added Swapnil Bhosale, the Head of Esports at Revenant. “We have a lot of exciting announcements coming up soon.”
