REVIEW : Epic Chef (XBOX Series X)
This game will bring out the chef in you and take you on a divine culinary journey. Epic chef is an exciting game with a good storyline. The setup of the game darts with a guy named Zest, who lives in Ambrosia and wants to become the Ultimate Culinary Expert.
It is an adventurous sim game offering a lot of elements like farming, cooking, and creating your dish to become the ultimate chef. Your challenge as Zest is to work and complete quests to defeat the opponents. It has a strong narrative with elements from the cooking and farming world.
All the tasks throughout the game are different and demand focus. It can seem a little confusing initially, but it answers all your questions as you move forward. There is a lot of dialogue delivery and conversations with the characters in the game. Also, the tasks are story-driven and are optional sometimes. Fun and humorous elements are added to the game.
It is a charming game with pretty graphics. You, as in Zest, are given a haunted house and empty land. Your main task is to make a living out of farming and feeding the poultry and slaughtering, and then making dishes to become the Ultimate Culinary Chef of your town. You will perform the main tasks and enroll yourself inside tasks to earn more points. These side quests aren’t too tricky and can make you feel a bit laid back. The area of gameplay is not too big but feels fresh.
There are multiple things expected from you. You will tend your land and then get tools and machinery to build infrastructures. For example, you will build a windmill that will help you convert your vegetables into seeds that you can use later. The game has a lot of absorbing constituents that will keep you fascinated.
There is a time limit to what you can do, and the day/ night concept follows. You can get things at only specific hours and need to make a list. You will cut down trees for space and build rewarding stuff. You can furnish your house as well. You can go fishing and explore rare ingredients.
