REVIEW : Jurassic World Evolution 2: Feathered Species Pack (PC)

The Feathered Species Pack DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a great addition to the game. It brings four new creatures to your parks: Deinocheirus, Sinosauropteryx, Yutyrannus, and the flying reptile Jeholopterus. All of these creatures come with their very own feathers or fur, making them a great match for managers striving for more advanced or realistic parks.

REVIEW : Jurassic World Evolution 2: Feathered Species Pack (PC)

Deinocheirus is a feathered theropod from the Late Cretaceous period. It is the first creature in the title to have both herbivore and piscivore diets. This means you’ll have to balance between ground foliage and fishy feeders. Deinocheirus is fairly social with both sauropods and hadrosaurids, making it fairly easy to find a space within your park.

Sinosauropteryx is a small-statured creature from the Early Cretaceous period. It requires a similarly small pen, making it incredibly easy to fit into current parks. It also mixes well with pretty much every other dino, with the exception of the most hardened alpha predators.

Yutyrannus is an Early Cretaceous tyrannosaur known as the “feathered tyrant”. As with the T-Rex this one doesn’t mix too well with other dinosaurs, requiring a spot of its own within your park. The size requirements for open space are a big consideration, as Yutyrannus does need a fair amount of different environmental elements.

Jeholopterus is another tiny addition to the list. This one is a small bat-like insectivore from Late Jurassic Asia. As with the other flying reptiles Jeholopterus is restricted to the aviary only but due to its size it can still be hard to find. It’s a relatively social creature which can share its environment with others quite nicely.

REVIEW : Jurassic World Evolution 2: Feathered Species Pack (PC)

Overall, the Feathered Species Pack represents a worthwhile investment and offers exceptional value for the content provided. It adds more variety to the list of available species for your park and gives you the opportunity to add more variety to what your paying customers come and see.

In terms of gameplay, this pack adds new challenges and opportunities for park managers. The new creatures require specific habitats and diets that need to be carefully balanced in order to keep them happy and healthy. This adds an extra layer of complexity to park management and provides players with new ways to engage with the game.

The visuals and audio of this pack are also top-notch. The feathered creatures are beautifully rendered and animated, adding a new level of realism to the game. The sounds they make are also unique and add to the overall immersion of the game.
