REVIEW : MX vs ATV Legends (PC)

In general, continuing a series of games regardless of their problems and only using history and low cost is a common issue in the game industry, and the MX Vs ATV Legends game is exactly in this category. Even despite entering the new generation, the quality offered is exciting without any colour or seasoning. In the beginning, the process and the features provided are not even fun at best and it is not clear what the creators have in mind to build it. The game starts with the training part where the NPCs are spread in the game environment and you have to talk to each of them, then the game enters its main stage which is divided into three sections: MX, UV and ATV. To get to each part, you have to pass the previous part, which starts here with MX (dirt engine). Undoubtedly the worst part of the game. Everything from the controls to the physics and the Henling is made in such a way that they do not cause the slightest excitement or even a little enjoyment. Especially the control and the way the buttons are placed on the gamepad or keyboard. In both cases, instead of providing depth whether on the ground or during jumps, the handling does not react well at all and in some cases, it only annoys. After doing a certain number of races and getting the required points, the second stage and UV (four-wheel motor) will be available. All the problems of MX are here too without any changes. It seems that only the appearance of the device has changed slightly in terms of weight. All the flaws in the gameplay, handling and physics of the devices are also found here. But in the third stage, there are ATVs.

In addition to the effect of physics on handling, collisions are also strangely bad, and artificial intelligence, which in most cases sees the best way to deal with the player or track walls, makes its basic problems visible. Of course, not that he expected a much better and more interesting experience, but it is only an improvement compared to the first two episodes. And this progress is also limited to their handling. But the physics of the game still has a huge negative impact on the whole experience. It is made to a limited extent, which is one of the main reasons for the major weaknesses of the gameplay. Especially since one of the promises made before the release of the game was the presentation and fundamental change of the physics system.

REVIEW : MX vs ATV Legends (PC)

The design of tracks is perhaps the most diverse part of the game. which are filled with many kinds of obstacles and twists. This parallel construction, which causes diversity in the type of jumps and fluid control, is the only point that can be considered positive. But if we factor in the map of the tracks, in terms of technical and artistic design, we are facing one of the weakest games on the market. Everything was better defined even in the 7th generation and the Xbox 360 and Ps3 era. But MX Vs. ATV Legends has managed to provide the lowest standard even in this field. Especially in the current period when there are many AA and Indie games that may not offer a special technical package, but they are enjoyable experiences that cannot be forgotten for a long time.

REVIEW : MX vs ATV Legends (PC)

There is a personalization and customization section in the game, which includes changes in technical parts such as shock absorbers, height, etc., in addition to appearance items such as colour and design. But even compared to other AA or Indie games, we are facing a severe lack of diversity and possibilities. In general, there is not much to define the game except for the mentioned weaknesses. The game in all available parts is below standard or average at best. There is no variety and excitement, the physics of the game is one of the worst made during the last decade, and along with the AI and very bad control and numerous bugs, it creates an experience that cannot be ignored in terms of being bad.

review-mx-vs-atv-legends-pcEven the process of a Career and a single player does not go through a specific goal or a specific process to keep the player interested. In addition to the multiplayer part, which in my experience was not filled even once. In any case, MX Vs. ATV Legends has many alternatives to fill time or entertainment.
