REVIEW : Size Matters (PC)

  • In Size Matters, you take on the part of a scientist who has accidentally ingested a drug that makes him shrink every second!
REVIEW : Size Matters (PC)
  • As you shrink, getting around the lab gets more difficult, with the game actually turning into a platformer as you solve ways to climb up onto where the media and elements are located!
  • Using the tools, you need to manage to make an antidote in a short time, before you shrink perfectly! Go through the formulas you find and follow them accurately!
REVIEW : Size Matters (PC)
  • Operate tools such as Chemical Processor, The Reverter, Code Combiner, Antidote Producer and more!
  • But beware, your time is very precious – you require to process components using lab facilities all while hunting for missing parts or rearranging the lab so you’re able to reach stuff when you’re smaller!
  • Search the lab for ingredients and recipes which aid you to produce the three key elements of the antitoxin!
REVIEW : Size Matters (PC)
  • Every formula is tied to one of the devices in the lab. You can produce new ingredients, which may be used in other formulas or are one of the three key ingredients you require for the antidote
  • Once you collect three key ingredients, place them inside the antidote producer to produce an antidote!
  • When you shrink too small the game is over!
  • Tweak all kinds of environments, such as the height at which you start, how many double jumps you can do, or how long it takes for the Chemical Processor to complete its process!

My Thoughts

Easy to learn but a little hard to master. Very enjoyable and the customisation options are plentiful, which will allow you to make up more or less any playstyle you want. I would recommend doing the set levels first, and then using Custom levels to achievement hunt! Even though the levels are quite small, they are jammed packed with things to do, and the puzzles are also just difficult enough to reflect the time it takes to complete them.

One thing I liked was the ability to choose custom names for the chemicals, I used the names of chat members, this made the game more enjoyable mixing, combining and microwaving them brought me great joy! If an official Twitch integration could be implemented it would be awesome!

review-size-matters-pcOverall, despite what magazines and ladies have said to me over the years, SIZE DOES MATTER! Don't believe them when they say that to you, as an easy letdown, no longer will their empty words affect me. Seikatsu can envisage that more levels/challenges will be added in the future, let's hope and wait and see! Will defo play again if more stuff is added.
