REVIEW : Timewell: Trail of Celestes (PC)

The first game in the Timewell Universe, where the space-shooter genre mingles with narrative-driven gameplay and space RPG, is called Timewell: Trail of Celestes. A 4 DOF (4 degrees of freedom, the ship moves on the horizontal plane) gaming type was carefully chosen since it is ideal for big audiences and has a higher level of fun. As the A.I. SAT-V, the player pilots a Vulcan class space fighter. SAT-V is an artificial intelligence that has its personality and the ability to adjust its capabilities and adapt to different levels of difficulty. To lead SAT-V to her destination, use your discretion and skill points!

Gameplay

  • The first game in the Timewell Universe series, Trail of Celestes, combines space shooters with space RPGs and story-driven gameplay. Can you learn the truth about the conflict between the powerful adversaries known as Constructs and the superior beings known as Celestes?
  • Saga Mode: An exciting and dishonest story takes place in remote regions of the galaxy. As the A.I. SAT-V, you pilot a Vulcan class space fighter. Can you help her reach her goals?

Ability to adapt: SAT-V is an artificial intelligence that has its personality and the ability to adjust its capabilities and adapt to different levels of difficulty. You can alter your skill points and perks instantly, improving your gameplay with various strategies. Can you face dangers using both your thinking and your body?

  • Relics are awards for fun feats that you can unlock during the game, and they are added to your inventory after each playthrough. These artefacts from another planet can increase SAT-abilities V’s and attributes. The Epic and Legendary Relics that you gain through achievements provide your gaming style special boosts.

  • Customize Appearance: Using paint modes that are randomly acquired from enemies, you can change the appearance and atmosphere of your ship. You can utilise them on each playthrough once they are unlocked and yours.
  • Fast skirmish mode with several planet settings is also available for casual gamers. There is a hidden mini-boss in each zone. Do you feel up to the task?
  • Easter eggs: There are amusing (and slightly enigmatic?) easter eggs just waiting to be found. Can you decipher The Unfathomable Scholar’s puzzles? Could you?

Enjoy and take in the enticing ambience of the Timewell Universe, where SAT-V is essential to the continued existence of three different galactic races. May you lead her on a journey of trickery and suspense to her destination?

The Story

The world experienced a severe crisis of resources, pollution, and an unequal economy in the year 3099. The ultimate artificial intelligence with a personality was developed by governments under the leadership of Megatech to expand their influence throughout the galaxy.

The most recent artificial intelligence research, known as SAT-V (Super Adaptive Tech), was created to conquer dangers with unmatched cleverness and firepower.

As SAT-V struggled to locate a planet with just the right amount of resources, it received a puzzling signal from an unidentified source near Titan.

When SAT-V arrived at its target, it came across a portal, a huge hole in spacetime. It made the risky jump and took the first step in human history without hesitation.

After the spacetime jump, SAT-V experienced an unexpected realisation: a mysterious force emerged from her cerebral nexus and assumed control of her virtual personality. The creature offered SAT-V a variety of duties to complete to go to the destination, where humanity will be rewarded by supreme beings known as Celestes while giving little knowledge about its origin.

REVIEW : Timewell: Trail of Celestes (PC)

This game is great. It was a fun game. Despite not being a huge lover of shooting games, this one has an intriguing plot. I felt as though it drew me into the game and encouraged me to play more. Learning to use the controls is simple. My only complaint is that I couldn’t locate the key to skip the dialogue or the introduction. The Celeste guy is excruciatingly sluggish, but I believe the devs put a lot of work into it and want you to enjoy it as much as possible. You achieve one goal, but the next goal arrives a little later.
