REVIEW : Ultimate Fishing Simulator - Florida DLC (PC)

Ultimate Fishing Simulator is a realistic fishing game that lets you explore various locations and catch different kinds of fish. The game has been praised for its graphics, physics, and gameplay, and has received several updates and expansions since its release in 2018. One of the latest additions is the Florida DLC, which adds a new map, new fish, and new challenges to the game. In this review, I will share my experience of playing the Florida DLC on PC Steam, and give my opinion on its pros and cons.

REVIEW : Ultimate Fishing Simulator – Florida DLC (PC)

The Florida DLC introduces a new map called Everglades, which is based on the famous wetlands in southern Florida. The map is divided into four zones: the swamp, the canal, the lake, and the ocean. Each zone has its own scenery, weather, and fish species. The swamp is full of vegetation and wildlife, and you can catch bass, catfish, snakehead, and gar. The canal is a man-made waterway that connects the swamp and the lake, and you can find peacock bass, tarpon, snook, and barracuda. The lake is a large body of water that offers a variety of fishing spots, and you can catch largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and carp. The ocean is the most challenging zone, where you can fish from a boat or a pier, and you can catch mahi-mahi, marlin, tuna, and shark.

The Florida DLC also adds 18 new fish species to the game, which are exclusive to the Everglades map. Some of the fish are common and easy to catch, while others are rare and require special equipment and techniques. The fish have different behaviors, preferences, and sizes, and you can see their detailed information in the fish encyclopedia. The DLC also adds new fishing rods, reels, lines, hooks, baits, and lures, which are designed for the Florida environment and fish. You can buy them from the shop, or unlock them by completing quests and achievements.

The Florida DLC is a great addition to the Ultimate Fishing Simulator, as it offers a new and diverse fishing experience. The map is well-designed and realistic, and the fish are varied and challenging. The DLC is suitable for both beginners and experts, as it has different difficulty levels and modes. You can play the DLC in single-player or multiplayer, and you can also create your own custom scenarios and tournaments. The DLC is also compatible with the VR mode, which enhances the immersion and realism of the game.

REVIEW : Ultimate Fishing Simulator – Florida DLC (PC)

The only downside of the DLC is that it is quite expensive, as it costs $9.99 USD on Steam. This is almost half the price of the base game, which is $19.99 USD. The DLC also requires a lot of disk space, as it adds 5 GB to the game’s size. The DLC also has some minor bugs and glitches, such as fish clipping through objects, or the game crashing occasionally. However, these issues are not very frequent or serious, and they do not affect the overall enjoyment of the game.

REVIEW : Ultimate Fishing Simulator – Florida DLC (PC)

In conclusion, the Florida DLC is a worthwhile purchase for fans of Ultimate Fishing Simulator, as it adds a lot of content and fun to the game. The DLC is realistic, diverse, and challenging, and it gives you a chance to explore and fish in one of the most beautiful and unique places in the world. The DLC is a bit pricey, but it is worth the money if you love fishing and want to try something new. I would rate the DLC 4.5 out of 5 stars, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fishing games.
