The “Pawn Stars” Embrace History in Latest Team-Up With Rise of Kingdoms

Unless you’re a mega fan, chances are you haven’t heard much about the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop from the famous “Pawn Stars” series in the last few years. Hailing from the iconic Las Vegas strip, the OG Pawn Stars — father-son duo Rick and Corey Harrison — have teamed up with Lilith Games to promote Rise of Kingdoms’ latest update that introduces a new faction: Ancient Egypt.

In the new video, the Harrisons star in a fun and rather eccentric promotional video with a very Survivor-esque feel, where the duo faces off against three teams, including two major YouTubers, Chisgule Gaming and Shinchi42, in themed challenges based on Rise of Kingdoms. Much like the game itself, the teams participate in timed challenges where each team claims an ancient civilization to “play” as and uses their specific traits to their advantage while answering Rise of Kingdoms trivia and engaging in some intense swordplay, among other challenges.

The partnership couldn’t be more perfect, given the Harrisons’ keen interest in all things historical and Rise of Kingdoms’ historically-accurate portrayal of lost civilizations and the people that ruled them.
