New locations, quests, events, and a mysterious figure await!
October 4th, 2021 | Hitcents and Vallynne are excited to announce the second big content update for their hit turn-based RPG Shores Unknown is now live! Players will be headed to Carrines Bay, an entirely new location where they’ll be tasked with chasing down and confronting the mysterious figure known only as The Alchemist. Players will also learn more about their comrades’ backstories through brand new character quests.
Carrines Bay is a city of many connections. Being the center of the Kingdom’s trade, it brings together people of widely different backgrounds and motivations. It has no shortage of potential new allies, adversaries, and perhaps a few guests from the long-forgotten past.
In addition to a new location and information about companions, the update also includes:
- Character class progression that allows players to advance further in combat proficiency to unlock new classes, each with all-new passive abilities. Some of the new classes include:
- Minstrel – proficient with bows and strengthening abilities in Bardic Lore
- Vindicator – a healing support class where shield blocking is key
- Battle Mage – a physical fighter who finishes off enemies with a charged magical attack
- And more…
- Carrines Bay locations including the Outskirts, the Central Ward, the Harbor, and the Trade Ward
- Over a dozen additional side quests and smaller activities in and around Carrines Bay
