Team SMG takes second place with 19 points, level on points with third-placed HomeBois, but ahead in placement due to having a better head-to-head record. While Team SMG will undoubtedly be delighted at having secured the Upper Bracket slot in the Playoffs, they will also be pleased with the way they took it, having beaten title rivals Selangor Red Giants (2-1) in a fiercely contested match.

At the other end of the table, RED Esports (six points) and Team Secret (seven points) will be relegated this season after placing bottom two in the Regular Season table. Team Secret battled valiantly to secure the clean sweep they needed to give them a chance of escaping relegation, but their victory over MPX NSEA on Day 1 (2-1) was not enough to earn them safety.

Instead, Team Lunatix, who end the Regular Season level on points with Team Secret (seven points), squeeze through to the Playoffs despite their loss to TODAK (0-2) in Week 6 – due to having a better head-to-head record against Team Secret. Team Secret will take consolation at having etched their names into the record books, with their third match against MPX NSEA the longest in MPL MY history at 41 minutes 34 seconds.
