Three-time back-to-back local Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore (MPL SG) champion RSG bids farewell to star player and captain Weelun “Diablo ” Yeo as part of a major transfer to fellow esports rivals, Team Flash. Diablo has been an integral part of the team’s success, and the move will set the stage for a new chapter in his career and make waves across the esports community.

Diablo’s remarkable three-year tenure with RSG has been marked by three consecutive MPL Singapore Championships. And as he embarks on a new journey with Team Flash, RSG expresses gratitude for his invaluable contributions and wishes him continued success.

//”We are immensely proud of Diablo’s growth & accomplishments with RSG. His dedication, skill, and sportsmanship have left an indelible mark on our team, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours with Team Flash.” – Benjamin Lim, Head of Esports

To underscore the unwavering commitment to fortifying the esports landscape and elevating the overall development of esports athletes, RSG will be investing USD 500,000 over the upcoming years into the scouting and development of the next generation of superstars.

The esports organisation will be launching the RSG Cup Series— a collection of hyper-localized tournaments spanning Southeast Asia. These tournaments stand as the ultimate proving grounds, dedicated to scouting and nurturing the next generation of exceptional talents in the region.

//”The RSG Cup Series is a testament to our commitment to scouting and developing the best gaming talent. Over the last few years, we have refined our player development process to field highly competitive quality teams across Southeast Asia. We are now eager to further scale up and welcome partners who share our vision of empowering players and to replicate this success with the next generation of gaming talent,” – Jayf Soh, CEO & Founder

//”Diablo’s shift to Team Flash presents an exciting opportunity – it is definitely a step in the right direction towards building talent within RSG to the wider esports ecosystem, and Diablo is proof of concept of this. The RSG Cup is also a fantastic addition to the MLBB Esports ecosystem in Southeast Asia, and these tournaments will expose young and budding talents to more professional opportunities that locals here, can leverage towards their goals of going international. We thoroughly support these endeavours, and look forward to RSG continuing to pave the way for esports in Singapore.” – Daniel Chew, MPL Singapore Lead
