Free-to-play Battle Royale action for both solo players and trios!
South Korean studio PressA have today released their side-scrolling online shooter SIDE BULLET on PlayStation 5 as a free-to-play title. Get ready to experience a Battle Royale like none other, merging tactical depth with 2D arcade action!
To celebrate the game’s launch on 5 October 2023, 2023, PressA is thrilled to present a spectacular launch event: “Welcome to Neon Dystopia City!”
The event will run from 7 AM KST / 10 PM UTC on 5 October 2023 until 11:59 PM KST / 2:59 PM UTC on 2 November 2023. During this exciting event, players will embark on a thrilling mission-filled journey to claim a variety of enticing rewards, including the adorable Pet (Trifle), the stylish Emblem (Fancy), the electrifying Gun Skin (AMFAS / Neon Shot), the striking Shield Skin (Neon Crush), and the trendy Outfit Set (comprising both top and bottom) known as the Dystopia Set.
These incredible rewards won’t be limited to just one game mode; you can earn them in both Battle Royale Solo and Battle Royale Trio modes. So, gear up and get ready to dive into the neon-lit world of Dystopia City and emerge victorious with these fantastic prizes!
Set in an urban concrete jungle, players will be pitted against both each other and strange monsters. Choose a fighter from one of nine cartels including Psychos, Special Agents, and Prisoners. Each cartel offers its own passive skill known as a Unique Perk and special weapons can be used together with active skills known as Perks.
Use your guns in conjunction with your grappling hook for smooth, agile precision platforming. Defeat strange monsters to acquire more powerful weapons and supplies. Unlock perks as you play and customize your battle experience. Infinite possibilities await!
| At launch SIDE BULLET will include Battle Royale Solo and Battle Royale Trio modes, more content will be introduced in future updates. As a free-to-play game, SIDE BULLET offers microtransactions, but these aren’t pay-to-win bonuses. Instead, there are Item Bundles, which include customizable cosmetic items, such as costumes, weapon skins, furniture, emotes, and more bundled together at a low price, as well as the Premium Battle Pass that allows players to earn various additional rewards on top of their existing Free Battle Pass rewards. “PressA studio aims to continuously provide players with that magical experience when you first play a new game,” said Kim Seonguk, producer of PressA development studio. “With this goal in mind, we set out to develop a creative game that can provide players with a completely unique experience.
