The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers, a non-profit media organization, has announced nominations for its 16th annual awards program honoring video game art, technology, and production.

MLB The Show 16 – 2 nominations
Ratchet and Clank – 4 nominations
RIGS: Mechanized Combat League – 1 nomination
The Last Guardian – 7 nominations
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – 16 nominations
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood – 2 nominations

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End also received a Game of the Year nomination.

Developers Neil Druckmann and Phil Kovats received three nominations each for their work and are waiting to be certified for the official record.  As many as 235 individuals are in the process of being certified for nominations.  Developers, publishers, marketers, publicists, and reps are encouraged to contact the academy for more information.

Nominees were determined by 1,195 press voters in 60 competitive categories.  Voters nearly doubled in numbers from last year.
