It’s lights out and away they go! 60-player kart racer Stampede: Racing Royale, from developer Sumo Leamington and publisher Secret Mode, has kicked off its first Steam Playtest, running from now until midnight BST on 31 July.
The Playtest gives racing fans a chance to Join the Herd on eight different race tracks and one battle arena, all to prove they have what it takes to secure a podium finish. Racers will also get to stand out from the pack with over 50 customisation options to choose from. More courses and customisation options are being prepared for the Early Access release later in 2023.
Stampede: Racing Royale’s first Playtest does contain work-in-progress content, and player feedback will be used to help shape the future of the game as it gears up for an Early Access release later in 2023. Players should note that progression and unlocks will not carry over to future Playtests or Early Access.
Stampede: Racing Royale‘s first Playtest is available on Steam right now and runs from today until midnight on 31 July. The game will launch on Steam Early Access later in 2023.
