If you could transfer your spirit into a machine, wouldn’t it be a Roomba? This release proves you right. System of Souls is the videogame developed by Chaotic Studios that will take you to put your soul into a synthetic body to immerse yourself in a world where organic matter has less future than a convertible submarine… And survive. It will soon be available in physical format for PS4 and PS5 from Selecta Play, and also on Steam. And why do we recommend it? Read on if you have a soul.

The year 2155. The world has gone to hell. The ecological catastrophe has been devastating. The atmosphere is unbreathable. The food is inedible. The water is undrinkable. And the Oprah videos are still there. The only way to survive such a hecatomb is to transfer your spirit to an android L-064N. Only the company ION is able to provide this wonderful service. But surviving won’t be easy in this metal and carbon fibre suit either. Especially when you don’t remember who you are or what you’re doing there.

And that is what it is all about. Unravelling the mystery of the past that holds the key to the present in order to achieve a future. This beautiful thing involves moving through the length and breadth of ION’s facilities. Aurea will be your only companion, an artificial intelligence determined to make you remember. To do so, she will stimulate your neural network with ingenious challenges and puzzles.
If in the real world one hand is all you need to solve things with a slap, in System of Souls a single hand is enough to overcome all the obstacles you encounter. One hand, and your brain, of course. The game is played in first person, interacting with the objects you find in the different floors of ION to unlock memories.

The structure of the game is divided into four floors, in which different elements are added to the gameplay. The difficulty settings have been designed so that you can enjoy the story and learn as you go, without giving up the challenges. The ultimate goal is to reach the Atkinson-Schiffrin tower, where the souls of humans are stored. The only place where you can recover your original body.

System of Souls is a game that cannot leave you indifferent. Unless you’ve chosen the Roomba, of course. Because then you don’t have a soul.
