We realised that we wanted to continue what we’d started with The Night Fisherman, and so here we are. The Outcast Lovers is the next chapter in what we hope will be an ongoing short-game series we’re *tentatively* calling The Sacrifices.
Driving home late one night, Ola and Mary encounter an immigrant in distress. He’s looking for salvation, but in near-future Britain he’ll be imprisoned or worse. Do you hand him over, washing your hands of his fate? Do you take him in, at great personal risk and expense? What will you choose?
The game features an expansion of Chard’s distinctive visuals, some Britpop-inspired compositions from Richard Campbell, and even more political narrative from yours truly. A Steam release is inbound in a few weeks, so wishlist on Steam to get notified when it drops!
