Tower of Fantasy major update Ver3.4 out now with Black Friday deals and a new Altered weapon
The free-to-play open-world RPG Tower of Fantasy, published by Perfect World Games, has today released the 3.4 version “Butterfly in the Abyss” on the PlayStation platform.
The entire Marshville map is now open, featuring the new character Nan Yin and the new altered element weapon “Purple Bamboo”. Black Friday deal events are underway, with up to 40% discounts!

New Character Nan Yin and New Altered Element Weapon
Nan Yin was the Overseer of Yuheng Department in Marshville, the previous “Lady Baihu”, respected by the people of Domain 9. However, she is now a traitor, a mysterious woman who controls the Dark Wretches with her flute, feared and hated by many.
Nan Yin’s weapon is an extremely rare Altered Element weapon. It can not only be paired with weapons of other elements but also in battle, it can deal output of any element such as frost, volt, flame, and physical. What’s more important is that even when not in play, her weapon can still increase your attack power through the “Inhabit” function.
Additionally, Nan Yin’s skill is very convenient for speedrunning. Her skills can generate teleportation points, helping you quickly teleport between two locations.
In version 3.4, old friends Lin and Fiona will also be reissued along with their Altered Weapons!
Marshville’s Forbidden County Now Open
The entire Marshville map has been opened up, introducing new areas such as the Pass of Ao, the Skyburnace, and the Black Jade Ruins. New world bosses like “Darkness: Merbelle” and new ecological species like “Rockwing” and “Hidewing” are now unlocked, bringing fresh exploration gameplay.
Relaxed and Joyful Events
The 3.4 update brings a variety of fresh casual events and gameplay experiences. Dive into events to get rewards!
“Ultimate Champion Tournament” pits 8 players against 5 distinct levels. Your ranking and rewards are determined by the total time spent reaching the finish line.
Wanderer’s 1v1 showdown in “City Siege”. Use cards to release monsters and employ card strategies flexibly to crush the opponent’s virtual fortress!
The “Assembling for Combat” upgrade is back, where 8 players will participate with the same initial attributes, combining different weapons and source card combinations to build the strongest combat formation in their minds.
The mentorship system will be open in version 3.4, meaning new and old players will form a closer bond in the game, challenging dungeons and growing together.
