The mind is your battlefield in this dynamic turn-based tactical RPG, available for 10% off this week!

Twin Sails Interactive and Drop Rate Studio have launched the psychological turn-based tactical RPG Wantless: Solace at World’s End on Steam Early Access today for $16.19/€16,19 after a 10% discount available through November 14 ($17.99/€17,99 before discount). Warp inside your patients’ tormented minds to battle their inner demons while trying to preserve their memories, or suffer the consequences. Check out the game’s launch trailer and get ready to walk the fine line of morality in a dying world.

In Wantless: Solace at World’s End, you’ll play as Eiris, one of the world’s last transposers – doctors who delve into the psyches of patients to alleviate their suffering in dynamic turn-based combat. Craft your own abilities with a deep skill-forging system to prevail against the horrors made manifest dwelling within. Each transposition comes with its own randomly generated objectives, biome and rewards – be prepared to lose, gear up for your next victory, and keep your own fear in check!

Key Features:

  • Battle Terrors Inside Your Patients’ Minds: Fight over 70 unique enemies, including 22 challenging bosses, from your patients’ psyches, but be careful not to cause even more instability within their fragile minds. Discover unique patients with their own personalized storylines, personalities and battles to unlock legendary items, special skills and cool outfits!
  • Endless Skill-Crafting Possibilities: Craft your own skills, modifying each ability’s effect, form, range, and more. Forge your own playstyle and improve it after each run, specializing in close-combat combos, ranged firepower, or manipulating the battlefield strategically. Possibilities grow exponentially with each run, providing you with new tactical solutions for the increasingly complex challenges that await!
  • Dynamic Combat System: Mix and match effects to create devastating combos, balance your action points and cooldowns effectively, and utilize buffs and debuffs to outsmart your opponents. The more you act, the more resources your foes gain, so use the environment to your advantage mindfully to even the odds!

And there’s even more to come! New content driven by community feedback will continually be introduced throughout early access, including new storylines, bosses, enemies, biomes, and patients. The development team also plans to add new gameplay mechanics (skills, events, progression systems) and massive features like ship engineering, helping you customize your runs with special buffs, challenges and more. There’s plenty of surprises yet to be announced, but you can check out the detailed early access roadmap on Steam.
