Aeldari Join the Battle in Tacticus as First New Faction
Snowprint Studios is thrilled to announce that it is adding the ninth playable faction to its growing list of available armies in its critically-acclaimed mobile game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. Beginning this coming Sunday, September 18th, the Aeldari will be joining the fray as the first major update, hot on the heels of late August’s Live PVP update. In the past few weeks, over 500,000 players have joined the galactic battle. Tacticus hosted its first live PvP tournament which saw over 38,000 players join the melee for a chance to become the first ever tournament champion. The first two Aeldari characters are: Calandis Tawaren, Veteran Ranger and (coming in October) Aethana Barantharal, the Autarch.
- Calandis Tawaren – Veteran Ranger – Masters of stealth and ranged combat. The Rangers blend into any environment on any world. Calandis adapts her attacks across the battlefield and can disappear on opponents in an instant.
- Aethana Barantharal – Autarch – Autarchs are legendary for their strategic brilliance, sublime martial skill and indomitable strength of will. Long have they trodden the Path of the Warrior, never once slipping into the trap of obsession. Instead, they apply all that they have learned and mastered to their command of the Asuryani warhosts.
