Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin has a suggested retail price of £49.99/$59.99/€59.99 for the Standard Edition. The Deluxe Edition is available for £59.99/$69.99/€69.99, while the Ultimate Edition is £64.99/$74.99/€74.99. Alongside the base game, the Ultimate Edition grants access to four Alternate Hero Skins (one per faction), two Profile Customisation Sets and access to two Hero DLCs arriving after launch*. The first Hero DLC brings the Stormcast Eternals hero Yndrasta, The Celestial Spear to the game, while the second brings Orruk Kruleboyz’ airborne Gobsprakk, The Mouth of Mork to the battlefields of Ghur, the Realm of Beasts. The Deluxe Edition, meanwhile, includes the base game, four alternate hero skins and two Profile Customisation Sets.

In Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, players command one of four factions in tense and tactical battles. The mighty Stormcast Eternals bring a versatile squad selection to the field, as well as heroes who provide vital buffs and crowd control of enemies. The cunning Orruk Kruleboyz offer cheap units, surprise attacks, strong defensive squads and brutish monsters to the fray. The ethereal Nighthaunt thrive through swarm tactics, have high mobility and can even resurrect dead units to continue fighting. Finally, the masters of manipulation known as the Disciples of Tzeentch are deadly at range, using powerful spells to control the battle and bringing the astonishingly powerful Lord of Change to control the late game. Understanding their various strengths and weaknesses, and how they interact, is a vital part of the journey players will take with Realms of Ruin.

In the singleplayer campaign, players will enjoy a rich, character-driven story of desperate conflict, co-written by acclaimed Black Library author Gav Thorpe. Told from the perspectives of multiple factions, the campaign begins with a detachment of Stormcast Eternals journeying to retrieve a powerful artefact that may help save their fortress settlement, Harkanibus. But all is not as it seems: the artefact harbours its own dark and wicked history, and the encroaching native Orruk Kruleboyz are also in pursuit of this arcane power. Storytelling is woven deeply into each campaign mission, and the singleplayer narrative culminates in an epic battle to save Harkanibus.

In Realms of Ruin‘s 1v1 and 2v2 cross-platform multiplayer, commanders will battle for domination of Victory Points with their faction of choice, clashing with human players online or AI opponents. In Conquest Mode, players will take on single-player battles across a larger map, contending with unpredictable twists like increased movement speed, reduced squad vision, and restrictions on the population cap.

Realms of Ruin includes extraordinarily in-depth customisation features which allow for a personalised playing experience. The Map Editor offers the ability to create multiplayer maps, featuring a wealth of granular options including biome selection, terrain and water painting, as well as gameplay objective placement. Using a cross-platform in-game Workshop, maps can be shared with the community where they can download, play, and rate maps on any platform.

Combatants from all four factions can also be personalised in the Army Livery tool, using colours from the official Citadel paint collection. Players can create and save palettes for entire factions or individual units, then use their custom army in multiplayer or Conquest Mode. They’ll also be able to create astounding dioramas in the Map Editor, posing characters in curated snapshots to share with the community.

The Standard edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, meanwhile, launches on 17th November for all players on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of £49.99/$59.99/€59.99.
