iam8bit’s uniquely designed physical editions are now available for Switch and PS5
iam8bit is excited to announce that their Exclusive Editions of We Are OFK are almost here! These carefully curated physical editions on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch contain all five episodes and other special extras, all shipping just after the launch of We Are OFK’s fifth and final episode.
The Exclusive Editions are on sale today on Nintendo Switch ($34.99) and PlayStation 5 ($29.99). As always, We Are OFK received the premium iam8bit treatment including a trove of thoughtfully selected, meticulously crafted extras. Each copy includes a reversible coversheet designed by Team OFK’s Nafisah Tung, and a 3D Papercraft of Debug the cat. The Exclusive Edition also comes with all five episodes of the game – a complete collection!
We Are OFK follows the lives of four friends that make up a budding band in Los Angeles. As their musical misadventures take them through the ups and downs of life, love, making art, and paying rent, players will get to take part in the chaos. Beyond the slice-of-life storyline are also interactive music videos and a new OFK song in each episode, all coming together to form their debut five-track EP.
Their EP is also available for pre-order on vinyl from iam8bit. This 2xLP includes singles art prints from artist Nafisah Tung and features exclusive OFK acoustic tracks. It’s expected to ship Q1 2023.
About Team OFK
Team OFK is a group of supportive and brilliant freelancers creatively led by co-designer of the award-winning Hyper Light Drifter, Teddy Dief. This all-star team has assembled talents from across the gaming, tv/film, and music industries, including Art Directors Jenny Yu (Carmen Sandiego, Netflix) & Nafisah Tung (Drawn to Death), Screenwriter Claire Jia (Fresh Off the Boat, ABC), Songwriters & Music Producers Luna Shadows and Thomas Powers (The Naked and Famous), Producer Mikayla Foote, and Composer Omniboi. After receiving funding from Kowloon Nights in 2018, Team OFK announced their project under a mysterious emoji codename. In December 2020, they revealed We Are OFK during The Game Awards, alongside OFK’s debut single “Follow/Unfollow.”
