What Teams Will Compete at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022?

Only 8 teams will compete at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022. Every team had to earn their spot either through winning Majors or climbing the BLAST leaderboard. The tournament will feature the following teams:

  • Natus Vincere
  • Heroic
  • FaZe Clan
  • Outsiders
  • Team Vitality
  • OG
  • Team Liquid
  • G2 Esports

As you can see only the most elite teams in the world will compete in the Abu Dhabi event. We can expect to see some truly incredible matches as every team will want a slice of that $1 million prize pool. The following teams have the best chance of winning the tournament.

Top Teams that Could be Winners

1. FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan are having a legendary 2022 season. They have won almost $2 million in prize money in 2022 alone. They secured impressive wins at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 for $500,000 and at the Intel Extreme Masters XVII – Cologne for $400,000.

In the early part of 2022, the American team looked absolutely unbeatable. However, they had a poor performance at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 in November and lost in the final of the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022. FaZe Clan are strong favorites but it is not a guarantee they will win!

2. Outsiders

Outsiders came out of nowhere to win the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 in November and walked away with $500,000. Prior to the Rio event, Outsiders previously known as Virtus.Pro had been struggling in the 2022 season. But it appears they have found their form and are now ready to compete with the top teams in CS:GO.

During their IEM Rio Major run they beat Heroic in the final and crushed Team Vitality and Fnatic. If they can repeat that performance then they have a strong chance of winning in Abu Dhabi!

3. Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere has been one of the best CS:GO teams in the world for years. They also have the advantage of being led by the number 1 ranked player “s1mple”. Natus Vincere has had a successful 2022 season which included a win at the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 and a second-place finish at the Intel Extreme Masters XVII – Cologne. They have lost numerous times to FaZe Clan in the finals of big tournaments.

If Natus Vincere are going to this tournament they will need to figure out the FaZe Clan puzzle and return to their mid-season form. As long as s1mple is playing well the Ukrainian team has a solid chance of becoming champions!

4. Heroic

Heroic is a Danish team that was formed in 2016 and has over $2 million in tournament winnings. They quickly became a top CS:GO team after back-to-back amazing performances at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 where they came second and at the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 where they won.

If Heroic can maintain their red-hot form then they can beat any CS:GO team in the world. We can’t for Heroic to rematch Outsiders and FaZe Clan. Those are must-watch matches!

We Can’t Wait for the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022!

Whatever happens at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 it is guaranteed to be exciting! With so much on the line and only elite teams in attendance expect fireworks. FaZe Clan are the pre-tournament favorites. However, recent performances have shown the American team is beatable. Don’t be surprised if Outsiders or Heroic end up on top of the podium. And with S1mple leading Natus Vincere, you can’t count them out either. Tune in on the 14th of December to see the first group stage matches.
