Life is stressful, but URBO is not. In this meditative city-building puzzle game from indie studio Door 407 (the team behind early access hit Diplomacy Is Not An Option), you have one simple goal; to design a flourishing city one house at a time. With no time pressure and a gentle, ambient soundtrack, pick your moves carefully, plan ahead and watch your creations grow. Try it yourself today on Steam, and sample URBO‘s serene vibes in the trailer below.

Perfect for play in short sessions, URBO is designed to be simple to pick up and play, but demanding to master. With a limited amount of space, take turns placing houses. If three or more of the same size stand adjacent, they’ll be consolidated into a single building of the next size up. Carefully plan your moves and your city will stretch to the skies.

The URBO demo contains the core of the game. A single environment and architectural style, and the basic rules of the game. Challenge yourself and master the game’s simple yet rewarding mechanics and you might even have a high score to brag about, but even if competition isn’t appealing, you’ll have nonetheless built something beautiful.

The URBO demo is available now on Steam, with the full version launching later this year. Wishlist URBO now to be notified when it launches. The full game will bring more environments, more architectural styles and more complex rules to the game.

Also available from Door 407: Castle siege RTS Diplomacy Is Not An Option, leaving Steam Early Access soon.
