Armor Games Studios Drops New Developer Diary for ‘The Adventure Pals’ (PS4, X1, Switch, PC)

Today Armor Games Studios and Massive Monster released a new developer diary for The Adventure Pals, the action-packed co-op platformer launching this spring on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, Windows PC and Mac.

This behind-the-scenes video, narrated by artist Julian Wilton, offers a brief, humorous recap of the project. You’ll hear about the four design pillars for the game, how the team came together, transitioning from flash games to a multiplatform release on consoles, and how they came to work with Armor Games. There’s also footage from their original flash game, new footage from the upcoming game, and some funny commentary and doodles throughout.

The Adventure Pals is a side-scrolling action-adventure platformer about friendship and exploration, featuring RPG elements and two-player local drop-in/drop-out co-op. Hop on the back of your giraffe, Sparkles, and discover 105 levels across five whimsical worlds filled with unique quests and characters, including zombie pirate cats, post-apocalyptic dinosaurs and hot dogs that poop explosive mines. Help a whale regain confidence, take a side in the battle between toast and dinosaur, travel to a legendary sunken city, decide the fate of a pirate election and more, all while leveling up to gain new and more powerful abilities!
