Check Out the First Steam Demo for Magical Delicacy and Updated Demo for Botany Manor
Are you ready for a break from the winter blahs? Well, we’ve got the remedy for you! Today, we’re thrilled to announce that demos for the botanical puzzle game Botany Manor and Metroidvania-light-meets-cooking game Magical Delicacy will be available on Steam from February 5 through 12 during Steam Next Fest!
Magical Delicacy:
During Steam Next Fest, you’ll get to try the first Steam Demo! Play as Flora, a young witch who has ventured to the beautiful harbor town of Grat in order to grow her magical abilities. Using the power of magic, cook delicious dishes for the townsfolk from a vast array of ingredients you can purchase from local merchants, forage from around the town, or grow in your garden. Customize each dish to your customers’ tastes through a creative cooking system. Explore the charming 2D platforming environment inspired by Metroidvanias, gain new abilities, reach new areas, and unlock shortcuts.
Magical Delicacy will be available on PC and Xbox One and Series S|X — available day one with Xbox Game Pass — this year.
Botany Manor:
The updated demo showcases several of the puzzles you’ll find in the finished game. Play as retired botanist Arabella Greene, whose English homestead contains a lifetime of memorabilia to explore. Uncover seeds to long-forgotten flora, and examine her stunning 19th-century manor house for clues to help you piece together the correct conditions to help bring these flowers to bloom. Interactable items around the property that can be turned and flipped will provide information to help you solve each gardening puzzle, grow the plants, and discover their mysterious qualities.
