On June 28th, Deadliest Catch: The Game will become available on Nintendo Switch as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Based on the popular TV series produced by Discovery Channel, Deadliest Catch: The Game is a king crab fishing simulator set on the Bering Sea. The game has previously been published on PC, and in the next few months, it will also be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Developed by the Polish studio Ultimate Games, the game was first released on PC in April 2020 after being in Early Access. Ultimate Games S.A is responsible for porting it to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Thanks to backward compatibility, Deadliest Catch: The Game can also be played on Xbox Series X|S.
Deadliest Catch: The Game is a realistic simulator developed in cooperation with Discovery Channel. It allows players to fish for king crab on the Bering Sea while managing a special vessel (the so-called crab fishing boat). The game stands out due to its attention to detail, and the gameplay itself is an optimal balance of realism and approachability.
