A new trailer and massive updates coming for the hit siege survival RTS

Fresh from celebrating a successful year in Early Access, Siege-survival RTS Diplomacy Is Not An Option is gearing up to march out of Early Access this November. But there’s plenty of skirmishing to be done before then, including a major new content update this Spring.

The Spring update brings a casual Sandbox mode to the game, new technologies to research at the University, plus new Oil, Stake and Mine traps. But all of this pales in comparison to what’s coming at launch. Get a first glimpse of the conflict to come in the surprisingly silly new trailer below:

Diplomacy Is Not An Option launches November with a single enormous update, outweighing every single piece of Early Access content. Here’s just some of what players can look forward to:

  • A colossal, branching story-driven campaign with two main story arcs and multiple endings. Fight for the crown, or rebel against it.
  • Vastly expanded environment and mission variety, hordes of new enemy types (both human and monstrous) and more ways to claim victory.
  • A dozen new Challenge maps and six new Endless Mode maps to conquer.
  • A map and mission editor, allowing players to create, share and challenge complex new scenarios.

Diplomacy Is Not An Option is available in Early Access on Steam, GOG and Humble for £19.99/$24.99/€20.99 and launching fully in November. Join their official Discord channel for up-to-the-minute updates on development.

Also coming in 2023 from Door 407: URBO, a casual city-building puzzle game, with a demo available now.
