- At stake are a spot in the MLBB M5 World Championship 2023, a slot at the M5 Wild Card, and the lion’s share of the US$100,000 (~SAR375,000) prize pool.
- Fans can experience a host of exciting activities on-site, including meet-and-greets with POWR Mody, POWR Viruss, and POWR Ibrahim; cosplay performances; carnival games; MPL MENA-themed dinner combos; and giveaways!
After five weeks of high-octane action, the top four Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) teams in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region have arrived at the region’s biggest competitive arena – the 2023 MPL MENA Fall Split Playoffs. Taking place from 19 to 21 October, the Playoffs will offer teams a shot at the US$100,000 (~SAR375,000) prize pool and the chance to go from #ZeroToHero by representing the MENA region at MLBB’s biggest international competitive stage – the M5 World Championship 2023. A second team will receive a slot at the M5 Wild Card based on the results from the Playoffs.
The three-day offline event will be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at VOV Gaming at Roshn Front Mall. VOV Gaming is a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian esports and gaming company Savvy Games Group, and is Presenting Partner for the 2023 MPL MENA Fall Split.
2023 MPL MENA Fall Split Playoffs Schedule & Team List
The MENA region’s top four MLBB teams have been seeded in the Playoffs based on their final standings from the Regular Season. Each of the top teams from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries excluding Saudi Arabia, as well as the second-best performing team, advanced to the Playoffs.
Geekay Esports (Regular Season 1st-place) and Team Occupy (Regular Season 4th-place) will not be participating in the Playoffs due to difficulties obtaining the necessary travel permits and rulebook violations respectively.

- Triple Esports
- Okami eSports
- Team Falcons
- Twisted Minds
The Playoffs will follow a double elimination format Best-of-Three (BO3) format, except for the Lower Bracket Finals, which will have a Best-of-Five (BO5) format, and the Grand Finals, which will have a Best-of-Seven (BO7) format.
Triple Esports and Twisted Minds will commence the Playoffs with the first match of the Upper Bracket Semifinal on 19 October, at 7:00 PM GMT+3. As Saudi Arabia’s champion, Triple Esports and its strong line-up of ex-WildAxe players – last season’s third-placed team – will have high expectations, but Twisted Minds will be looking to secure a heavy upset despite this being their debut season in MPL MENA.
Okami Esports and Team Falcons will then face off in the second Upper Bracket Semifinal match. 2023 MPL MENA Spring Split 2nd place team, Okami Esports, will be the favourites to triumph. However, Team Falcons, one of the biggest and most decorated teams in the MENA region, are expected to put up a close fight.
