Snowprint Studios is delighted to announce that Modern Times Group (“MTG”) has acquired a majority stake in the studio, clearing the way for the studio’s growth and creative innovation. MTG and Snowprint are closely aligned with mutual values, and the new partnership will enable the team to focus on creating great experiences for turn-based strategy gamers.
Snowprint is the studio behind critically acclaimed titles including Legend of Solgard, Rivengard, and Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. Launching in 2022 and winning Game of the Year from Pocket Gamer, the latter title has quickly grown to be one of the most popular mobile games connected to the global Warhammer 40,000 IP, as well as one of the leading mobile turn-based tactics games today. With MTG’s support and expertise, the whole team is excited about future expansion onto new platforms, community growth, and more. We are better positioned than ever to execute on our mission to provide genre defining experiences.
