New Missions, Fresh Challenges, and Exciting Updates Aplenty: Maze Theory Reveals the Path Ahead for ‘Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom’ with New Content Roadmap

Immersive entertainment studio, Maze Theory, today lifted the lid on the exciting new free content that is coming to their immersive action-adventure VR game, Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom, including new missions, new environments, new challenges, additional customisation, and more.

As detailed in both a brand new Content Roadmap illustration and Video, the forthcoming updates are a reflection of Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom successful launch on Meta Quest 2 and PICO 4 on 9th March 2023, building upon the positive reception to the game and community feedback from Peaky Blinders fans new and old alike.

The 2023 roadmap confirms Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom will continue to be supported with regular new free content in the coming months and beyond, all designed to enhance and extend the gameplay experience. Phase 1 of the Roadmap – running from April to August 2023 – will include new combat missions, new challenges, new weapons, a new environment, and player customisation options, along with regular quality of life updates and improvements. In April, updates will add new shooting galleries with moving targets to hone your combat skills, and the ability to jump back in and replay your favourite chapters of the campaign.

Further details on the precise release timing and specifics about each future content update will be revealed at a later date.

“It’s been amazing to see the reactions, feedback, and game clips our players have shared with us since launch day! We are eager and excited to see our Peaky Crew delve into all the new content” said Tim Jones, Game Director at Maze Theory. “We are continuously monitoring player feedback, and off the back of this, we have an abundance of ‘peak’ content planned for the months ahead focused on extending the gameplay experience, adding new features, and increasing replayability – this is just the beginning, we’ll have details of what’s to come in Phase 2 later this year.”

Inspired by the BAFTA-winning drama, Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom is an original story written in collaboration with Peaky Blinders’ producer and brand owner Caryn Mandabach Productions, and with series creator and writer Steven Knight. The game was created in partnership with Banijay Brands, the commercial arm of content powerhouse Banijay.
