Pixel Heaven 2017: Independent game developers can now apply for PIXEL.AWARDS
All indie developers willing to submit their productions to the largest independent games competition in Poland should do so until 30th April. The jury will only consider those productions that were released after 31st May 2016, and the prizes will be awarded in 15 categories:
- Indie Grand Prix
- Best Gameplay
- Warsaw Excellence
- Best Art
- Best Story
- Fresh Air
- Best Mobile
- Best Multi
- Retro Roots
- Big Bang!
- Best VR Experience
- I’m Scared!
- Rookie of the Year
- Total Blackout
- Additional category: Big Fish Grand Prix
Last year, PIXEL.AWARDS recognised such productions as: 911 Operator from Jutsu Games, mobile Bladebound from Artifex Mundi and Serial Cleaner from iFun4all (coming soon on PC and consoles). If you create indie games, here is a unique opportunity to gain new industry contacts, get exceptional awards and most importantly meet the players who will provide the most direct feedback on the developers’ work.

Pixel Heaven 2017 is the fifth edition of the event which brings together passionate fans, who remember the beginnings of electronic entertainment, independent game developers and young generations who can learn how video games evolved throughout decades. In 2016 the event was visited by more than 8000 people and hosted industry legends, such as: Fred Raynal, Jon Hare, Mike Montgomery, Ben Daglish, Oliver Twins, Dino Dini, Sam Barlow, Petro Tyschtschenko and Jeff Minter. This year’s Pixel Heaven offers even more attractions, including a business conference, new guests and more stands worth visiting.
