Traverse a procedural world with mind-blowing ocean depths and massive Titans in an Exploration Survival game that changes the way you interact with water. The game is still in its early access and will progress to make changes and improvements for the welfare of the developers after interacting with its users.
Breakwaters are released by Soaring Pixels, and it evolves the way you interact with water. You can swim, sail and fly to find new islands with different resources to build, craft and ultimately survive the harsh conditions. You will experience sustaining on an island with almost no facility. It is as problematic as it feels and can be thrilling.
It provides an online platform co-op and is a single-player game, but you can play in a team online.
The largest ocean simulation ever creates a unique interactive open-world experience. Your goal is to defeat Titans as large as an island and fight Golems as big as a house. You then need to gather crystals and refine them into items that displace and deform the ocean revealing treasure. You can build structures that interact with the world scale ocean simulation. You can customize your boat to handle Titans in rough weather and local enemies.
You are surrounded by the ocean, which holds secrets unknown to the world. There are over 360 square kilometres of ocean to travel and explore the dark places and dig deep. There will be strange people and unique aquatic creatures on your way. There is a twist of physics used in the game as well. Its world is populated by mighty titans who destroy everything that gets in their way. To become a real breakwater, The main story, which is already partially available, has to conquer these mysterious creatures and master the elements of fire and water and explore the diverse world of breakwaters. We should be rewarded with unique items such as binoculars that still ensure a clear view even in adverse weather conditions.
Powerful crystals must displace water and reveal resources for completing the quests. Different strategies, such as building walls to contain the ocean or block waves, are key to rebuilding and helping the world recover from the constant chaos inflicted by Titans. You will face littles bugs and technical faults here and there. There are artefacts present beneath the waves belonging to a dead civilization. You can roam the world, causing destruction and for survival. You will fight deadly storms and do anything and everything to sustain yourself.
Breakwaters are designed for three players: Homesteaders, Explorers, and Adventurers. This means players can enjoy many different play styles, such as building, farming, combat/action, adventure and more. There’s something for everyone—casual players who enjoy life-sims can chill on the beach to harvest resources. In contrast, players who crave action and adventure can battle massive Titans that plague an otherwise peaceful world.
