PREVIEW : Hello Neighbor 2 (PC)

This demo showcases all of the most recent gameplay features as well as the ambience that will be present in the finished product when it is released. When UberHaxorNova played the early builds of Hello Neighbor in 2016, that’s when I first learned about it.

It’s vital to note that I won’t be giving anything away about this demo before we continue. Why that matter is a question that you may have. The demo for Hello Neighbor 2, which will be released in December, is actually a standalone adventure. This suggests that there are clues to be found that might point to a plot point in Hello Neighbor 2 when it is released in its entirety. As a result, I want each of you to have a personal experience with this demo, which is now open to everyone. Let me share some of my opinions now that we have cleared things out.

The AI for the NPCs has been significantly enhanced, which is the first thing I noticed from the Hello Neighbor 2 sample. Every character in Hello Neighbor 2 is driven by a neural network AI, learning from the players and exerting every effort to safeguard their gated community and its secrets, according to Eerie Guest Studio.

I actually had the opportunity to witness this while using the demo. In order to tour Mr Peterson’s home, I initially believed that I had mastered his movements. However, I soon realised that his entire pattern altered whenever I entered a different room.

This forced me to continuously change my strategy for what to examine next or even how long to stay in a room before feeling concerned that I would be discovered.

The other major impression I got from the demo was how subdued the eerie soundtrack is. For instance, there isn’t any loud, ominous chase music or even the sound of Mr Peterson’s feet pounding as he runs towards you when he catches you. But in this instance, I find that less really is more. I had to pay great attention while slipping through the house to hear Mr Peterson’s faint gasps or the doors that I would hear open and close to figure out where he was. This made me hide a lot more often than I imagined I would in the various closets strewn throughout the house.

Overall, I believe the Hello Neighbor 2 trial is a cute little taste of the anticipation we’ll have when the game is released on December 6 of this year. To check out this stand-alone adventure and get a true sense of what to expect in your mission to lift the curtain that is concealing this enigmatic community, you can now download the demo from Steam.
